My favorite holiday

When I talk about holiday, I can come up with many holidays. My best favorite holiday among them is christmas. In Japan, many peole started to prepare special cake, trees, and presents. It is very fun and exciting. I always looking forward to enjoying this season. When I was a little child, I often held christmas parties in my house. My friends came and enjoy playing games and gift exchanging. It is my precious memory of my childhood. Even now, I take part in christmas party in my church every year. I love christmas!!

My University Festival

During the University Festival, I mainly enjoyed music live of the circle I belong to. Of course, I also participated in it and play some songs. Then, I played drum. It was very exciting!! After my performance, I had been seeing other bands. Their performances were so good, so I thought I had to practice more and more. But because of it, I couldn't see other attractions in the campus. I was sorry about it.

My High School Memory

When I was a high school student, I was busy by studying and club activity, so I would talk about my club activity.
I had belonged to Kendo club in junior high school, so I decided to participate in it again. At the begining of my club days, the practices were very hard o me, so I sometimes broke down. I have thought that I wanted to quit, but I had many good friends and teachers, so I could improve my Kendo skill. My memory in high school is that I could achieve one goal.

Trend in Japan

Many Japanese are senstive to trends, and we can see them in many fields.
In this year, we often talked about budget screening. Current administration waste the state budget, so they face to the serious financial problems. Then, they decided to check thier way of using their budget and abolish some useless project.
Many people were very interested in this policy and often talked about it in news paper, news program and the Internet. I think I can see it as a kind of trends.

How the world will change?

I think the world will certainly change in the next 20 years. Even today, the world are changing in many ways, so I think it will have achieved a great change in the next 20 years.
The world we are living now have always been changing, especialy since 20th century. Particurarly, deveropment of technologies are remarkable, so I think the changes which may occur are based on them, for example flying car, very small computer, or higher-powered computers than today's one.

Globalization

Globalization means that the world is more closer to us, I think. Actually, many people around the world came to travel many various countries, so more and more people have been acquainted with foreign countries. And thanks to the development the internet, we came to be able to get information. For example, about the international news, politics, economics and more, so today, many people are interested in foreign countries and to know about it came to be common in our life. That is why I think globalization means that the world is felt so familiar to us.


What I feel it is globalization is foreign food. Sometime I think if globalization didn't occur, I wouldn't eat foreign food, for example hamburgers, stakes and curry. When I think so, I can eat many delicious food thanks to globalization.


Globalization gave me a important effect. That is the feeling that I want to improve my English skill. Today, we have many chance to meet foreigners in our life, so we also have many chance to use foreign languages, particularly English. Because I have been living in such a period, I'm prbably inspired to study English. I'll do my best to become good English speaker!

My summer vacation plans

The summer vacation will come soon! I'm looking forward to coming the season I can do many things freely.
In this summer vacation, I plan to climb the mountain named Daisen with my friends. Daisen is in Tottori. It may be hard for me to climb it, but I think this travel will be enjoyable. To climb more easily, I'll train my body by the travel.

What I want to do in the future

What I want to do in the future is to edit magazines, so my dream is to become an editor.
The reason why I have such a dream is that I like to read novels and comics. It's a simple reason, but I think it is natural to want to have a job which I can do what I like. When I read them, sometimes I think "How did editors and creaters make them so fun?" So I came to want to become an editor.

My favorite place

My favorite place is Yokohama I used to live. My home town was filled with nature, so it was very beautiful place. I have many memories of my home town. I had many friends I often played with and many places I often visited. I haven't visuted my home town for seven years. I want to go there again some day.

A disabled child

Last Sunday, a boy visited my church for the first time. He was very very cheerful, but he was a bit different from other children. He was a disabled. I didn't know the detail, but I was told that he coudn't behave as other children did. He was naturally lack of his concentration, so he was hard to listen to what other people said for a long time and he behaved as he wanted to do.
I was told to take after him. Frankly speaking, I was anxious about taking after him. Anyway, I tried not to leave him alone by playing games with him. He seemed to enjoy doing it, so I relieved to see it. On that day, I could have a valuable experience.

In my church

Last Sunday, I went to church as I usually do. I have been to church since I was five years old, so it is like my another home for me. On that day, I took after many little children with my friends. They were very very powerful, and I was very busy attending to them. But it may be a valuable experience for me.

Hello, my name is Kohei Hayashi. I'm a university student. At the begining of April, I entered at Kwanseigakuin university. At first, I was filled with anxiety whether I could make friends, but now, I enjoy my school life with my friends. Last wedensday, I participated in the party we call "Coffee hour". In this party, there were many students from foreign country, so I tried to talk with them, but, I couldn't speak English well. I was very sorry not to talk with them so much.
